Default Ticking clicking noise when accelerating

Never really noticed it because i play BPM sati all the time, but today i accidentally gassed the pedal when i meant to break to change park to drive and the RPMs went near redline (drove for about 8 minutes total). I decided to turn off the sati and listen to check my engine. i hear a clicking or ticking noise now. i was wondering whether or not this is normal. it smooths out when i dont accelerate though.

EDIT: car has 1017 miles now. 2012 is250

the ticking noise should be constant, regardless if your accelerating or not

When cold, the 2.5 engine sounds pathetic. Strains, ticks, whines, and wheezes. Once warmed up, those sounds deminish and the normal DI ticking comes into play (mostly heard at idle). Those are the two standard ticking regimes our engines make. They are both normal.

I have a 2011 IS250 and mine does the same thing. After warm up yes it does go away. I was very annoyed with it and asked a service tech at Lexus about it and they said it is completely normal.
