07awdis250 does it support 3g internet? I've read the spec on one of the many choices on alibaba and some of them do mention 3g capablities.

i currently have a factory oem nav unit, now im confused. Is there a way to mod my factor OEM unit??? as in put another OS in there or android adapter or something??? if not is fly-audio unit better than this new one by roadrover(C8018LI)??? Or both of them are junk compared to the 2007 IS factory oem??

do any of the third party have regular updates? and is the temp./radio station glitches fixed?
easy to get downloads and updates through their site???
Also do these third party product support my current backup camera and tire pressure monitor box or is there another one made for that specific third party model?

ReallY curious to see how this all pans out. The Celsius only display is kind of a bummer for me. One of the bigger questions I have is around the airbag light functioning properly when there is/isn't a passenger. I'm ready to pull the trigger on this thing if all goes well for the few who have installed one of these units.

Bad news, the reverse camera has stopped working when i shift into reverse. I manged to contact the seller and they told me its the camera that im using that is ccd instead of cmos. I dont think they are correct because, I initially wired the camera up and used the ccd labeled output and it was working fine , now it has topped working . However, I changed the ccd output to the video 2 output and went to tv mode manually on the unit and it works which means the camera is not broken . Maybe there is a setting on the unit to make it automatic but the chineese lady didnt know . So far everything works good except camera and radio that does work but the local radio station seem to be off by .4

how are you powering the camera? if i were installing it i would wire black to ground and the red to the reverse wire that powers up the lights when in reverse, also run a wire from a bulb reverse light to the unit and connect it to the reverse wire if it has one, then plug the video out from camera to "back" input from unit. thats how i always do it on other customers rides. now my factory unit that was nav already had the reverse camera already, and the wires were already behind the dash, i just had to figure out which ones it was and tap an male rca cable to it and give the
"back wire" 12v from reverse wire. works perfect nd never an issue.

The camera is wired correctly to the tail light harness because when I use the video 2 output while the car is in reverse it powers up and once i shift back to P it shuts off so that tells me the camera is working good and has power offcourse when connected to video 2 output i have to go to TV MODE manually on the unit . Now, when I plug the camera to ccd output it should automatically work when i shift to reverse but it does not work maybe the ccd yellow output stopped working.

On the flyaudio unit there is a setting to turn off the reverse camera, check if that unit also has that option and if it was accidently turned off.

Can anyone who has this unit throw up a quick post about whether or not the airbag light functions properly when there is/isn't a passenger? I can probably deal with everything, but having a flashing airbag light or having it not work at all is super annoying/dangerous.

Air bag light works just fine. No one in the seat its on, someone in the seat its off. Does that answer your question? At least in my car 2011 its that way.

why is your camera pluged into an output from the unit? the yellow rca cable comming from the camera must go into an input on the radio.

the china unit has a black cable which in one end connects to the back of the unit and the other end has all the ouputs look at the picture in the link below so you can see what i mean, there is no ouput in the back of the unit all are located at the end of the balck cable.
