07awdis250, Can you start a brand new thread with a full review, please? Very interested, as it seems a lot of others, on your experience with this unit. Heck, given the Nav can easily add a $1k for resale, spending $500 is a no brainer even if one doesn't want to keep the car long term.

 

Yes I did buy the camera but it was ugly so I gave it to my friend . I bought a new one from ebay.

My car wont start i have a fuse tester and fuses seem to be fine except a few of them which dont light up the tester even though i replaced them . Weird

 

How does the unit fit around the console? Any gaps appear around the edge? How is the fit of finish of the unit overall?

 

did you fully charge the battery? it takes a long drive of up to 4hrs to charge a fully discharged battery. if you replaced it, then it still needs to be charged.

 

hummm. I wonder if the unit somehow engaged the starter disabler. If the car wont take a jump, unplug the radio and plug in the oem unit. If it starts the unit is the problem.

 

Try to fully depress the brake pedal with some force then push the start button. This happened to me when I disconnected the battery -- had to press harder.

 

I know a little bit...I was an installer back in the Pullout radio days.Some of you youngins may not remember Pullouts

Sorry I havent posted a video as promised. Maybe someone here knows what's wrong with my car. I bought a fuse tester. I checked every single fuse, while i was checking the fuses I noticed that there were a few fuses that didnt make the light on the tester light up? I went ahead and replaced them. I have attached a pictures of all the fuses that have been replaced with new ones however, the tester does not light up when im testing the fuse. All the other fuses are fine and when tested they light up the tester light.

The brake pedal is stiff as hell. Im able to unlock the car using the FOB. Once I press the brake the start button goes green and when pressed the motor start to turn over but it does not start, if fels like it wants to start because is the motor is cranking just fine.

Everything with a mark next to it or circle in red is what is not lighting on the tester even though i replaced them with new ones.

 

This may sound obvious but have you tried boosting it?

 

Have you disconnected the unit and then try and start the car?

 

Boosting it? Do you mean jump starting it.
