Lexus > BMW all day everyday.

My stupid friend who owns a 2007 328i think he's the best because he owns a BMW. Too bad he bought his car at 54k miles which is RIGHT after the BMW's warranty (wonder why the seller was selling it huh?). Anyways, after driving for like 10k more miles, something broke down I don't remember. But he cost him like 4k to repair it.

I laugh my *** off, even though I don't own a Lexus yet. I still hate him and his BMW. :P

He still says that BMWs are way better than every other car out there.
I told him, his BMW's reliability is a joke and his maintenance will end up costing more than the actual value of the car soon.

Lexus 5-Star Safety Rating.
Lexus is Japanese made.
Lexus is VERY reliable (Toyota).

Oh and this is just my personal honest opinion, but a decked out ISX50 > a 328i any day. I hate the rear of the 328i, looks like a Honda Civic's rear. I love the ISX50 all around, head to toe.

The one thing I don't understand about BMW is how can they not have fixed the HPFP issue on the 335s yet? It's kind of a big deal....nobody wants their fuel pump dying on them while they are out somewhere.
My buddies 2012 model just had the HPFP replaced under warranty, and he hasn't even had it a year

Hahahaha, true. I personally think BMW's are for only people who are rich and don't care about money as they can put as much money in it as possible.

Like my friend who has that 328i, he dropped out of college to work at his aunts restaurant and he thinks he's all that with his beamer. Jokes on him, when we hang out everyone laughs behind his back for being so stupid.

They come up with a new design for replacement on the 2011 and older model cars, but it still fails. I heard BMW has given up on fixing the old model's HPFP (just expect to replace it every few years), but the 2012 design isn't going to be a problem lol.

Lol from what I understand, some of the models are covered by a 10yr/120k warranty on the HPFPs now because of the alarming number of failures. Curious to see how it plays out on the 2012 MY BMW's like my homies. Hopefully they don't start having a widespread failure rate after people start racking up some miles. Sucks that BMW would just give up on the other years....I would hate to buy a car only to have to stock up on fuel pumps in the garage There was supposed to be an aftermarket company working on a reliable improved version too...not sure if it ever made it to market.

BMW is over priced, has lesser finish build quality, is less reliable, and doesn't hold value as well as Lexus. What else do you want. They look a little better now that they brought the "new guy" in to fix their design issues, but still don't compare to Lexus, imo.... Proud to be a Lexus owner and can't help but give a smug grin to the guy that pulls up to me at a light in a new Beemer, thinking he is the king. Idiot.......

^ can't really agree with you on that one in regards to the 911. My dad had owned several over the years and none ever had any problems. My friend's 06 325i has less miles than my 06 350 and he goes to the repair shop every few months
