Default VLED DRL issue

Hi I just bought my drl kit from vled. Just installed it a looks great but when ever I turn on my high beams the fuse goes out. I know they aren't ment to be used as high beams but I have afs which points the hid higher allowing me to view the road more. Any idea why this is occurring? Anyone with drls have the same issue? By the way I have the 6k white drl kit that is new and improved.

Thanks

You may have your wiring backwards. If not then just up your amperage on your fuse by like 5 and see if that helps.

Interesting point, i forgot for a sec that the DRLs are the high beams at half power (or something like that)

I just bought the a bunch of LEDs from V-LEDs to do the conversion. So far i've only switched out the inner dome lights but I was going to do the DRLs and puddle lights tomorrow

So if we do switch out the DRLs for the LEDs, does that mean we won't have high beams anymore?

That is correct, if switch to LED DRL's you will loses your high beams. But it's not as bad as you might think, like mentioned earlier your AFS will raise the low beams to project the light further down the road.

You know , funny that mention this because when I first installed my drl module on the passenger side it didn't work. So I reversed the polarity and found that it worked... Which was odd. Now I'm stuck with this issue blowing my fuse every time I switch on my high beams. Do you think this could be a manufacturing defect?
