Default A weird DRL question

Hello guys, happen to have a set of H7 bulb with HID kit around, here is a newbie question that I need answers, will they be able to install as DRL/Highbeam? I know the stock ones are 9005, but I can kinda force it into H7?

I wouldnt. Why do you want HID DRLs? Just get a set of 9005 bubls, theyre cheap. Normally under $30

9005 and H7 are completely different bases.

9005 have 3 tabs that twist in, while H7 is a circle with a single tab that usually requires a tension wire to hold it in place.

Technically the HID kit all run at 35w. So its up to you if you want to ghetto rig it. But if it pops out while its on and causes other problems, then its on you.

Also, DRL runs at 25% power, so your HID kit wont have enough power to turn on unless you get a module. And if you drive around with HID highbeams, you gonna **** off a lot of poeple.
