25/34. My average local and freeway drive about 32. This car is not underpowered as the IS250. It has enough fun power for me at any local street, freeway, and curved ramps. Go take the 86 steering wheel for a real spin experience b/c the stats sheet would never show the ride. It's a good handling package car not the straight line power car category.
If only it had a bit more HP and higher redline like a s2000..I know it's not built for straight line performance but 200 HP is quite underpowered IMO. We are talking about just a tad bit faster than a IS250.

hahaha .... that 86 air-bag logo will cost me an arm&leg unless you give me 50% off then I may considering. But thanks for your info, I will contact you if I need any thing for sure. The GT86 rear emblem, the jdm fog light, and the GT86 center A/C HVAC console is a nice piece equipment to upgrade
Some of them are already listed on my website
GT86 rear emblem, JDM Fog Light etc etc.

I was referring to the manual (22/30)

I own an S2000 and I've driven the 86 6 speed manual or Auto.
They are 2 different things.

I usually check out cars under this site just want to know. The site must have collected real data from few sources out there but it fair enough. According to that site, here is what they show. Their numbers are very fast compare to many other test magazines. It all depends on how the driver know the car torque/rev and launch it right.
IS250 at 7.3s
BRZ at 6.1s
FRS at 5.9s
S2000 at 5.4s
IS350 at 4.8s
And here he launched it for 6.2s and this is exactly what I experienced this car at low 6s compare to my IS350 at low 5s. That's why I feel it fast enough for this car.

Well, everything is relative.... in the early-mid 80s around 6 seconds 0-60 would be a blazing fast sports car, competitive with most corvettes and Ferraris... today though? From that same website-
2012 Toyota Camry SE (V6) 0-60 mph 5.7
2011 Honda Accord EX 0-60 mph 6.1
2011 Kia Sportage SX AWD 0-60 mph 6.3
2012 Hyundai Azera Limited 0-60 mph 6.2
2013 Ford Focus ST (5-Door) 0-60 mph 6.0
2012 Jeep Wrangler Sport (Manual) 0-60 mph 6.6
Obviously none of these will handle any near as well as the FT/GT/BRZ will

Congrats on the purchase.
This was actually the car I was considering buying before I changed my mind for the IS250 Fsport.
Reasons I chose the IS250 over the FR-S/BRZ:
FR-S/BRZ offer no Sun roof, poor quality/cheap interior materials, first year model car, only the BRZ offered HID and LED-type DRLs, back seats useless (might as well have made it a 2 seater).
Also, I love how the IS250 FSport handles, I love the steering and the suspension, plus it is a much quieter ride (something I wanted and would surely lack in FR-S/BRZ).
Other than that the FR-S/BRZ is a great toy car to mod and play with, not a very convenient car other than that. I will probably get one later down the road if they're still around after 5 years (when I finish paying my IS250) and have improved the quality.
If the car was 5K cheaper I would have probably waited, not worth it at the current price IMO. Hopefully it won't die like Celicas did, which I worry may happen.

I may have to go test drive one of these, they look pretty cool. Maybe its blasphemy on this board but I am starting to tire of $700/month payments This car looks pretty cool for HALF the price of my 350

The aftermarket company out there is all working hard priority for this car right now. There're going to be a lot of after market parts and at least serveral turbo kits for this car in US. The Greddy also is working on it for few months now. They all aim for above 300hp to 320hp range and that would be excellent in power/weight ratio for this car. Let say if it's at 300hp/2800lb=0.107 and M3 coupe at 414hp/3700lb =0.112. omg this is close . With the combination of the agile & numble, the 86 would probably blow the M3 coupe and the base cayman on the race track ! b/c It already gotten the balance chassis, good direct steering, and handling package "built in "as toyo-subaru engineers had said.

FWIW, there's already a twin scroll turbo FA20 engine from the factory. It's available in the Subaru Legacy 2.0GT DIT for the Japanese market. Output is 300ps, but only is offered with automatic [Lineartronic with manual mode]. No 6 speed manual is yet offered. It maybe offered for the 86 in a few years.
