What I notice (I'm 41/M, is250 awd):

is250 with Body/light mods + bigger wheels = average 20 something kid
is350 = Ricky Racer that thinks every stop light is the signal to drag race
Stock is250 = late 30 to early 40's woman

It is true though, the is250/350 is the "my first Lex" entry level model so I see them everywhere. I fully realized the car I bought is "no big deal", but at least the ricers with their Civics seem to love it...

Totally different story down here in Florida, I dont often see older people with the IS they tend to drive the LS.

IS250 = TONS of them!!!! Especially around (The best college in the US) University of Central Florida .GO KNIGHTS!
IS350 = Rare
ISF = See about 2 a month. Very rare

IS350 running NOS = I'm the only one I know of in the Orlando area.

Here in SF I saw many IS owners are young ppl like me, I'm 19 they might be little older but not as old as 30+ sometime of course I saw old ppl driving IS, so it's 50/50 in SF It all depends on what city are you in.

Thats why its called customizing son. Do you see some of the is250's on here that make you drool. I took a 97 4 door maxima grocery getter, and turned it into a 12 second silent killer,lol.

I've only seen one other IS on the road that has ANY type of mods done to it. Most of the time its older women in the 250 and RARELY do I get any sort of acknowledgement from any other lexus owners, even after waving or giving a nod.

There was an older gentleman, once, in a GX470 that followed me to Home Depot to talk about my exhaust and how good he thought it sounded, but thats about it. It's good to get acknowledgement for your taste in style and mods. That meeting still gets me through all these other rude asses.

I live in the San Gabriel Valley. It's about 12-15 miles from downtown Los Angeles . Rent can get expensive. 1bed, 1 bath in a decent area is around 1k+ . You should visit before making such a big move.
