Default 2is steeering problem helppp pleaseee

so the last few months my steering wheel has begun to feel a lot lighter. my car feels less safe at high sppeeds, doesnt hold as well in the canyons, and has more "play" in the steering wheel. its not the allignment, brand new tires, suspension is fine too. Anybody have any ideas to possible problem steering linkage etc etc? i really hate to spend a couple hundred dollar diagnostics at the dealership.
btw its a 06 is 350
any input helps i really appreciate it.
im running stock height on the car as well'

FORGOT TO MENTION. the steering wheel isnt centered anymore. it is leaning towards the left so i have to hold pressure to the left to keep it straight

Has it had SSC 9LC (the steering recall) done yet?

Somebody posted the exact same problem on the Suspension and Brakes sub forum,. Someone else chimed in that he is also having this problem after he hit pothole. Are you the same person?
