Did anyone remember what the black Friday sales price was? I'm thinking about getting them.

If you have memory seats, you're good to go - this was part of Sport or Luxury package. Sports package has aluminum trim with aluminum sport pedals.

I do have the white plug but it doesn't work like i expected. I'm now looking for a local shop to see if they can help me install. Hopefully it doesn't cost to much, or else I have to live with out the light.

I don't know if my car has sport, premium, or base package. Is there any thing unique about the car that can help me identify the package came with the car? Thanks.

THANKS for the info.

Ok, that mean my car definitely don't have the sport package. Don't use the memory so don't even know if i have it or not. Will need to check tomorrow.

Alright, just found out my car has premium package. Didn't care about this at first because I thought as long the connector is there and it should work.

@soFreshIS, make sure your car has luxury or sport package before order the lights, or you will end up like me.

Anybody, it's possible to install the illuminated sills on is350 premium. If yes, really appreciate if you can help me out. Thanks in advance.

Is my 2012 IS 250 (premium package) pnp? I think so based on the pics I took. There's 2 metal prongs in that white plastic piece, but from what I read above, it might not be so ? Can someone chime in perhaps...I took photos of my wires under stock sills...

I was reading through this thread, and it looks like some models have the plug but it's not actually wired to illuminate once plugged in.

It appears that I need the sport package for pnp? For sure I have the premium package, don't think I have the sport package. The sport package comes with the F-Sport trim right - wheels, lip kit, etc?

It'd be nice if the 2012 Prem package was pnp. Any one know if it will definitely work for me?These look sweet & would love to pick some up!

What model is your IS? On their site, they say "2010-2013 IS models are not plug and play (inc 2008 IS-F)." Maybe because yours is a 2008 it worked?

I sent an e-mail to Sewell. Their response, "the sill plates are not plug and play. You'll be required to connect the two wires (power and ground) to an interior light source to have the sill plates function as intended."

It's looking like I'm SOL I don't really feel like being adventurous and splicing wires into my electrical system & potentially voiding any part of the warranty.

I like the way you are climbing the ladder! Your list of cars and the ones you've marked out, is pretty cool!
