gratz on the new lights

 

Hey I just swap a 12 headlight to my 07 is250 and the light is working ok the turn signal also working ok. It just the led will not turn on. Can the flasher relay cause this problem????

 

Hey did you get them to turn on do have picture of the wiring? was it because of the relay flasher?

Can anyone help me wire up my 2012 is250 led headlights to a 2007 is350?

 

im in the same boat as everyone one, dont care if not OEM just want them to fight right and wiring to be (retroplug). same with tails.

can anyone send me the links to oem or non oem isf tail lights or 2012 lights (i know they are different looking)

also want to upgrade my side mirrors with those non oem covers that have blinkers.

 

hey im new in forum. Im new to lexus vehicles as well. my right bulb is out and planning to replace the bulb. i have 2012 IS250, not sure if my vehicle is equip with factory HID. is that a option or a standard?

 

Pretty sure it was an option on IS250's .Best way is to take the bulb out to see what you have as the Halogen and HID projectors look pretty close to the same. Your going to have learn how to do it anyway to see if it's actually the bulb that's bad . Swap them side to side to verify it's the bulb. oh ok thanks. I called lexus service department they were saying anything from 2010 and above IS are already HID equipped. is that accurate?

 

Well according to Lexus's 2012 IS product information press release in this pdf ,it was standard on the IS350's and Optional on the IS250's. Look on page 8 ,Factory Options and on Standard features it says"HID headlamps with LED daytime running lights & washers (IS 350 only)"
It could be wrong though I guess as the dealer should know this??

Watch who you buy your bulbs from as the majority of HID bulbs are Chinese knockoffs . Like the majority of those Philips coming from Amazon and Ebay. Most don't know or care as long as they work and they think they genuine because they were told they were. They think they are getting a good deal for one and really getting a $5 knockoff. Plenty of HID forums to read up on bulbs and here's a couple links to start.
