From the factory this function is not available in the US (well, down is, just not up)
I thought you were able to do it on the stock system lol
It happend to me also, 2 times. First it was in the driveway and after a couple of seconds the alarm went on (from the wind I think). Second time it was in the garage, and no alarm this time.
Here in Europe al IS have this function. I have the completely base model and even I can roll them up with the remote.

Yup, I mentioned that back in post #5 in the thread- it's available on overseas models but not in the US.
The presumptive reason being they're afraid someone will sue toyota/lexus because their kid was sticking their head out the window when it got rolled up via remote or something.
(and given how many have tried suing because they're too stupid to use a floor mat correctly, they're probably not wrong)
There's 2 good solutions for the "rolling down by accident" issue though if you don't NEED the rolling down function at other times- one I mentioned, just turn off the feature via LPS... the other is swap your key fob out for a smart card- still opens the car/trunk, but no buttons to press by accident.

Definitely sucks to hear, but I like the feature to air-out the hot air after a long day of sitting in the SC sun.
