Well, before we assume that something is wrong with the wiring or corrosion on the contacts or something, exactly how are you trying to thunder the puddle lamps on?

If you're not already doing it, press the unlock button on your keyfob and they'll turn on. If that's what you are already doing then you might have a bigger issue.
