Default Weird HID bulb problem

Tonight while driving home the drivers side HID bulb went out and I thought the bulb burned out. Then I got home and turned off the lights and then on again and it worked. What could be the problem since its not a burned out bulb?

Ballast or loose wire/connection.

Check the bulb first, it's most likely the problem.

That was the same problem I had. I swapped the bulbs out with new ones and that solved the problem.

Always a popular problem with HID bulbs based on my experience. If you play around with your headlight switch it'll come on a couple of times before the bulb decides to give up and die.
