Spacers? Aggressive fitment inside :)
If i were you id go with a custom milled spacer that is hub/wheel centric. As for if youll need to run extended studs there is a chance that you will have to. People are quick to say youll be fine running a 5mm spacer without extended studs, but you have to be sure that you get at least 6-7 full turns on the lug nuts. Not all wheels are created equal when determining if youll be able to run a spacer with them, and the pad depth may be, (probably) is of a different thickness. To be safe, id mount up the wheels with the size spacer you plan on running and make sure you get enough turns on the lug nuts. If you dont, youll need extended studs.

props to another member conquering the doubters and runnin the x11 in the rear! I'm ordering smaller tires for the front and trying to find a company with the rear camber kit so i can tuck em without rubbing, gonna have to get a shoot when I come back to jersey in a month or so when EVERYTHING'S on my car... just get the e92 already.
is150 has some very good advice too. Always better to be safe than sorry.
I'm currently running 5mm ichibas as there are quite a bit of people that use them here. But for better brand spacers you can try H&R and I think B2 design. Ichiba spacers come with hubcentric rings to make them fit our cars. Those other brands mentioned are already built hubcentric and dont need the seperate rings. Only thing is is that I don't know if they make 5mm.
FYI, I haven't had any problems with my ichibas thus far though.
