I got into an accident too and had to look for a new hood. I wanted the vented one too and was looking for pictures of it online but luckily, the next day I was driving home from school and I saw some guy with the vented one in your picture and I was like "Auhhhh, that is nasty." It looked terrible in person. So I bought a Seibon OEM style carbon fiber hood. It's good but I don't like it. I'm trying to find someone with a black hood I can trade with. Anyways, here's a picture of my hood the very day I got the car back from the body shop.

if you are going to go with carbon fiber you need to paint it to match your color code... for one cf is a ***** to upkeep, for two it looks sexy at first, but then cops think your car is fast... if you get it you should paint it. imo here is what my honda looked like before i parted her

Keep it stock it's the best option, unless you can custom fit the ISF one.

Ya I got one. Thanks J for posting the pics. I love my hood! Get SEIBON tho not VIS. Doesn't get that super yellow fade, fits perfect, and even with no hood pins the thing is super sturdy

About the cops: This is true. Once I was driving to Vegas at night and a CHP followed next to me in the other lane and actually put his spotlight on my hood for a good minute trying to figure it out. He didn't pull me over though but I could tell he was thinking about it

To be honest with you dude, very FEW people have those types of hoods cause they aren't racer/ricer cars.

It's the OEM style hood in carbon fiber. The lighting looks like it matches the car color but in sun light, you can see the difference.

That looks pretty clean! Do you think it'll match better with a SGM?
