I think the paint will stick just fine and will be easy to clean if you put the high temp clear coat over them at the end (over the vinyl graphic). I have never had to clean my red calipers.
I used dulpicolor engine enamel paint ( which should hold up to the temp ) as far as bubble or crack, im sure that depends on the prep you did before painting. the only thing i used as far as regular paint is just the mid coat ( pearl ) car paint over the base white.
