Fix the tint and have a cop sign off on the ticket, what i dont know is if you have to go back to LA for court or take care of it in san diego.

It's Non-Correctable, meaning he cannot just fix the tint and have a cop sign off on the ticket. That is only for correctable violations. You can pay the fine from anywhere. The inspection must be done in the same county the ticket was issued, if it were a correctable violation. Which, again, it is not.

This is exactly what the two or three posts above yours have already stated.

The ticket is "non-correctable", "not non-correctable*."

Pay the fine, move on with your life.

Call the number on the citation(bottom portion). If the violation is already in the system, the clerk will help you on the options you have to take care of your citation.
Clerk may be able to tell you the price as well. If you plan to visit Los Angeles within the next two months, take tint out, have ticket signed by CHP officer, and bring to court. Remember, you can always have one extension (about 30 days extra from due date).

Good luck
