note that, back then, no one ran cheap, knock-off parts (replica body kits, fake wheels, etc.). there was actually genuine interest in the 2is scene and pride in ownership, and part of the pride in ownership included rockin' the legit stuff. "don't fake the funk" wasn't just some flippy license plate frame cliche.

now it's just about "where can i get a replica kit?" or "how can i make these varrstoen wheels fit?" (really?)

those days are so gone.
