I went to a new 2011 M3 Sedan at the end of last year. Couldn't be happier as the IS was just to tame for me.

Infiniti G, Hyundai Genesis, or the new Audi S5 (despite being twice as much as the first two). But I plan on keeping my 350 for a long time.

Depends on how much money I want to spend...Hyundai Genesis, 3rd Gen GS, or LS460.
I had the 2011 Nissan Altima as a rental once and the only thing I liked about it was that you were able to leave the car on and lock the doors with the key fob, unlike our IS we HAVE to have the key in the car. IMO, the Altima was very light and uncomfortable ride, the interior was basic and plain...nothing exciting. I also used the tiptronic and didn't like it compared to our cars. The car just overall felt cheap to me. I know it was just a rental so they had the most basic model, but as a first impression I was not impressed. You could find something better for the same price.

Definitly keep 2IS as beater, then Range Rover sport SC or new Gen M3 or GTR.

Next car would be a 3IS or a 4GS.... hopefully I love the next 3IS as much as I do the 2IS and if that's the case it would be an IS-F

If it has to be outside Lexus then I would go to BMW.... 3 series, preferably M3 Coupe or maybe the Audi S5

I'd love to have a Corvette Z06 but I just can't stand the cheap quality of it.... maybe someday

What is the best price the IS F can be had for without too many miles?
You guys saying the Tacoma truck is not very good with Gas?? Id think it would be the best since its a smaller truck...I was leaning towards that truck since its smaller & better on gas over the big trucks...Dad has a tundra, frined has a ford & another has a chevy..hard pick between them all..

IF u r thinking to up grade on an ISF , do it now if u can, while your car still have good value and low mileages. Sale it private and get an ISF with low milelages. 2nd Gen ISF going to be more than 500 hp and cost going to be 75k to 85k. 2015.

Quote: The 3IS, when it shows up, will potentially be on the list, but since I've disliked almost every visual/cosmetic change to the IS from 2009 onward I don't have a great feeling about it... double that because they failed to refresh the powertrain for the 3GS and I fear they'll do the same for the IS.
finally i don't feel like i'm the only one.
