So yeah I went and tried this DVD hack(enable dvd to play while moving) this morning with a friend. I used this thread as a reference.

I was a bit worried that they would have changed around the wires on the newer 2010 + models before we started.......and I was right they did. My IS-F ML head unit did not look like the pics in this thread and the colors did not match up.

Can anybody tell me which wire I need to ground or what I have to do on the newer units in order to watch DVDs while I drive?

What about for people who don't have access to Beat - Sonic's ? I wanted to do this hack so badly too , but I'm glad to know now that we can't do it ourselves or I would have messed up my Unit like the OP here.

 

Why spend 230 + tax + shipping when I could just take one lil wire and ground it? Thanks for the link but I'm looking for a DIY on this.

LOL I didn't mess up my head unit, I just wasn't able to do it because nothing matched up.
