I agree Hankook Ventus V12, is a great bang for your buck...

But something that is a little more expensive, Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Specs are really really nice tires as well

 

Hankook V12s if you're not too picky, they're GREAT for the price. Yokohoma S drives are great as well, they're the only things i put on my M3 and S2000.

Those suckers have gone through autocross, puddles on the fwy going 70MPH, and a cross country drive from Houston to Los Angeles like a champ [All on the SAME set of tires]. While playing with them during my autocross outing, they never experienced the failure that I've experienced in my boyfriend's car and friend's car (on the fourth run, they were just slippin' and sliddin' everywhere). However... I wasn't pushing my car to it's absolute limits...

They're pricey, but I feel they're well worth it

They come in a variety of sizes (I have them 225/35/19 and 245/35/19). Also, I don't experience road noise or too much of a decrease in "ride comfort".

 

You know I ran the Hankooks before and to me they wore out pretty fast. Drove smooth don't get me wrong. But I guess if Im gonna be putting 19's I shouldn't expect to get long last tires. Am I right? Thanks for everyones opinion btw.

 

Im gonna research more into there Yoko's you guys are talking about. I hear good things about them. Im a noob lol so take it easy on me haha

I am running Hankook V12 235/35/19 Front and 255/35/19 Rear. Ride is smooth. Moderate noise. Road feel is quite good. Dry grip is not so impressive though. They loose the traction quite easily compare to OEM Bridgestone tires. May be, they need higher mileage to properly break-in .

Overall, good tires for everyday pampering ride. Not suitable for agressive driving or circuit run.

I'm running a set of these right now and they've worn better (got about 25k on them)and have better wet traction than any of the other Z rated tires I've tried. AND they're cheaper. I'll likely be buying them again very soon.
