Has anyone else had this problem? Black window mold peeling off?

I used weather strip adhesive to re-attach mine. I had a few spots that were lifting up and only held on by the part closest to the window.. I used an alcohol swab to clean it first then applied the adhesive to the end of a toothpick and layered what I could underneath the trim.. pressed it down and it held instantly.. I peeled off the excess that came out from under the trim

The thing that scared me away from using super glue (Loctite instant set is what i was thinking of using) is that it might eat at the trim somehow as it is somewhat aggressive. Also, there would be very little - almost zero margin for error when it comes to removing any excess glue that would come out as it dries within seconds. I guess it might depend on the glue that you are using.. But I'm sure it would work to hold it down..
Regardless of what you use.. its very tedious work.. it took me 30min to do one window
