Disable DRL on 2011 with Halogens?

Yes I thought about that before, but it is not 6V, it is 50% duty cycle 12V.
I could build an opposite timer circuit to prevent the high beam from activating until 12V has been on long enough, but it's a lot of work, haha.

I totally figured it out on my drive home from work. There are 2 ways to do this relatively easily:
1. Convert the PWM 50% duty cycle to voltage and then use a 9V or so zener diode to prevent lower voltage from passing. Not bad.
2. The halogen bulb is on in 2 situations: DRL or High, DRL can only occur when low beams are off, High can only occur when low beams are on. Just wire in a relay so that power only goes to the bulb when low beams are on. Very easy to wire in, and cheap. Yay!
I'm going to go with option 2.

You can get the diagrams on http://techinfo.toyota.com/
I added the relays this afternoon and everything is working 100% as expected. LED DRL's only.

All I want for Christmas is to have my 2012 Sewell plug and play headlights that were installed on my 2006 IS 350 to work like this: When in the AUTO position during the day: LEDs are ON (don't care about 50% or 100% brightness) / ugly yellow DRLs OFF (Currently in AUTO mode during the day, LEDs are OFF and ugly yellow DRLs are ON) I really know nothing about cars, so the easiest way to do this in a step-by-step DIY would be awesome. Thanks.
