Black Housing + Custom LED
I am trying to find a place to black out my headlight and fog light housings as well as possibly get some LEDs for the headlights. I am in the SF Bay Area.
I've considered doing a type 2 switchback strip, but I'm afraid of how the strip will look in the daytime when all lights are off. Couldn't find many pictures, either, so if you have LED strips, picture?
Also, a couple days ago there was a thread about getting the 2IS headlights blacked out and custom LEDs (no visible strip) in place of the side reflectors. I cannot find the thread at all now, but does anyone know what I'm talking about? I think it was done somewhere in SoCal and I'm willing to drive down for it.

So far all the LED strips i've seen inside the headlight don't look that great at all. The 2011 headlights are the only ones that look really good and flow well. Blacking out the headlights you can DIY if your not afraid, there's a guide here somewhere too i believe. Don't know of anyone in the bay that does it, but i know Tommy @ Music Box will do the black out headlights + fogs here in SoCal. Interested to see this thread on the LEDs in the side reflectors though..

Haha, I showed her the responses and she just laughed at me. :P
While we're on the topic, she wants 6K HIDs but that won't match the 2011 LED color. Has anyone figured out a solution for this?
