Well that's certainly hard to argue with.... since unlike my post, based on reality and actual facts, it contains a total of 0 actual information.
Anyway, the OP will probably need to call around to junkyards, I suspect most online junkyard systems won't distinguish fine enough detail to judge if they have the correct, old, sport pedal or not.

Angled it more due the problem of user error. Still, it's fixing something that wasn't broken, just as a precaution. Some people need to relax and not be so paranoid that something bad is going to happen if they skip the recall. In my case, I had half the recall performed. My IS350 already has the new brake override firmware.

In Canada at least, the offered customers the option to opt out of any part of the recall, while I don't believe that was an "official" option/position offered by Lexus USA.
I had an old sport pedal I had bought years ago lying around, so when I got my 2011, I put in the old-spec one. I like it. Lexus dealer has never given me any grief about it, and since my car is a 2011, it hasn't had any recalls either, so it's never come up.
