i had 2 points on my record, 21 and I pay 1,200 for 500/750 deductible at AAA. i cant believe you pay 2,100 that is insanely expensive for a clean record driver!!
I just finished switching to Geico and was relieved to find out that it was "only" $2100 for 6 months (down from about $3000 from my previous insurer). Sure I'm only 20 years old, but I have no accidents or tickets on my record.
Just wondering what you guys pay!
its because you are only 20 years old. your insurance will be cheaper i think at 25. well, that is if u keep your records clean
I'm paying 150/month for my 06 350 and my wife's 05 Scion tC. 27 years old. Clean record (at least for the last 3 years). And the cars are in Tampa, FL.
$115 a month Geico, Multi car, Homeowner, Married, Maximum full coverage, 500/500 Ded Been with Geico for 14-15 Years now Fort Lauderdale FL It was about $3k/6Mo when i lived in Brooklyn
Why does it seem like I pay too much?? 930$/6 months, full coverage, state farm, 06 is 350, 29, single, have only two tickets on my record (one for speeding about 15mph over limit, not completely stopping at stop sign) both tickets happened over 5 yrs ago
$1k+ / 6months - Full Coverage with Nationwide, 22 about to turn 23 car insured in NYC. I also have my wife on the policy... Driving record has 1 speeding ticket and an illegal passing late 2010. My wife has a clean record.
Does anyone know how tickets and points directly the price of the policy, are some tickets goin to raise your insurance more than others etc...
Again... it depends where you live
In NC for example the only thing that matter for insurance is the # of insurance points you have. There's a chart showing how many points each moving violation increases your insurance by (it's a % increase).
This is DIFFERENT than points on your license, which is a different chart, and those points only matter for risking suspension of the license.
