Seems like alignment and possibly gemetry issues here if they wear out so fast and have inner wear.

Earlier this summer, I replaced my Dunlop SP Sport Maxx TT set with General G-MAX AS-03 tires (they are a fairly new product from General), and so far I'm pleased with their performance and look. It doesn't hurt that they have a treadwear rating of 480, which is twice that of my Dunlops. I got them from DiscountTire.com and had them mounted at Lexus of Austin. With shipping and installation, total cost was right around $900.

How many miles and what did you think about the Dunlops? I just put them on my fronts.

ok guys guys. everyone go take your cars and have the toe set to neutral at "0" up front. the STOCK TOE IN from the FACTORY is set TOO AGGRESSIVE.

i had the alignment done on my 2is more times than i can count. and you wont even notice a difference in feeling changing it from where its set at. i had my IS slammed with -5.5* of camber on stock arms, and set the toe to neutral and never had un even wear if i payed 30 bucks every 2-3 months and had them flipped.

that is all. ive been saying this since i originally bought my IS in july on 09 and preach it on the wheel threads.

I loved the Dunlops, but wanted a tire that lasted a little longer than 20ish-thousand miles. If the Dunlops lasted longer, I'd still be rolling on them. Still, the new General tires seem to be holdig up well, and I'm not disappointed at all.

the stock potenzas arent very good. I've got Michelin Pilot Sports that are holding up really well. But they are expensive. Although I do hear that Cooper Zeon RS3's are great as well for a more affordable price. I'll probably be trying those out for my next set.
