Default Looking for Good Advice/Input

Hey, relatively new to cars and not that knowledgable. Based off of the number of forums i assume this is "the" site to be looking for answers. Just got some dr 34 rims because my front right stock lexus rim cracked and i always wanted the black look. http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/drag-dr34-18x8-5x110112-45mm-gloss-black-machined-p-69392.html

anyways I'm not sure if i was being paranoid or not but it seems as if I've lost some of the smoothness and quickness from before the change? any positive input would be greatly appreciated!

Your new wheel set up probably has an overall weight which is higher than the stock set up so the loss of quickness your feeling is because of the increased weight. The increased rotational mass will make the car a tiny bit slower. Also, whenever you go with a bigger wheel and smaller tire, you will lose that smoothness. How bad it is depends on the kind of tire you got, size of tire, etc.
