I went to the stealership with a game plan. Got on truecar and edmunds and printed out lots or different dealers who would sell it for cheaper, apparently only 4 dealers in So cal have the exact set up, geez.
Went to longo and they originally told me 49,667 plus ttl.. 3000 more than the sticker price on the actual vehicle! I was like no thanks and pointed out that it's 46 on the sticker and I might as well go for an ISF for that price, they made some bs about the tsunami and economy or some crap.
Told him to go lower than that or I go to Santa Monica Lexus and he went to 46,666, no joke $1 dollar less than sticker. I laughed and showed him truecars quote and how Ontario would sell it for 43,196 guaranteed, the dealer came back said the best they could do is 45500 + ttl and how rare this car compared to the fsport. Funny how last week I wanted an fsport and they told me how it's rare compared to the lux plus.
Lucky for me, my mom came with and she's Chinese, yeah you know what that means, deals plus tempers. She told him its too much and started to walk off, the manager immediately came from some cave and tried to stop her and make a deal haha. He gave a better quote, matching Ontario. I told him beat their price and I'll buy from you right now. 42000, he said no so we started to walk out again and he finally said 42500 plus ttl. Haha I went for it. Jesus I forgot how much California tax is. 45950ish out the door, still less than sticker
Overall, tool about 6-7 hours of sitting around dealing.
