depends on how many people you typically drive around. 95% of the time its just me, 4% of the time its me +1 and the remaining 1% its 4 adults. 99% of the time its perfect 1% its a bit snug.

I'm 6'1" and i fit fine but no one that is bigger than a small child is sitting behind me.

I just got out of a Genesis Coupe and the IS is small compared to it (much narrower and shorter doors), but I am comfortable as long as I can put the seat all the way back.

So I don't think it is TOO small but it is shall I say smallish!

I drive me plus 4 girls around very comfortably haha jk but what year are you thinking about buying? I think the 06-07 have less leg room in the rear than the other years.

Dude, it's all relative? Depends on family situation. Are you married? Do you have kids?

I have three kids ages 6-13. On short trips around town, I take my car (2007 IS250) on longer trip we use my wife's Honda Odyssey.

lets just say that it is uncomfortable to have an adult sitting behind you.

depend on what kind of interpretation you want in terms of size, most of the members give you the idea of what size IS would be and it's just a matter of your decision to go to IS or go to next level, back seat are left only for younger adult due to limited legroom unless the driver or the front passenger is generous enough to move their chair forward plus the factor that all IS has a bump in the middle that the third person sitting in the middle will not be comfortable on the long ride,

Driver and passenger have all the leg room needed

Don't worry about the back seats unless they make payments for your car then scoot up a bit lol

the passenger seats are really too small even for 2 adults.. no leg room at all.. but the front 2 are very comfortable

It really depends on how big everyone sitting in the car is. The way i sit in the car, only 3 people can sit at a time because nobody but a baby is going to be able to fit behind my seat lol. If i move the drivers seat up, i can squeeze in a small adult behind me and still drive ok.

It's really not a 5 seater though. IMO, that middle seat is useless. I wish they had just done something like the IS-F where its only 4 seats and a middle "tray" in the rear.

I'd have to admit that the IS is small. But, I don't have a problem with it unless I need to put something big in my car or I have someone sitting in the back. In my eyes, I see it as a 2-passenger car

IMO, it's way too small if your gonna have 4 adults in the car most of the time

with me, i mostly drive by myself or with just one other person in the car
my friends have learnt to not wanna go in the rear seats because of the poor leg room from my driving position and the head room isn't great either if your tall, and forget about using the middle rear seat on long journeys with 5 people in the car

but thats my opinion, i like the size even if theres poor leg room in the back
