I just purchased a pair of Strasse S8 20X 9.5 +35 20x 10.5 +40 for my IS350. I got them used from a guy that had them on a G37 coupe. I recently had them machined to fit my car and the tire shop stretched a pair of Nitto tires to fit on the rear. Obviously I'm a rook for buying them from a G37 in the first place thinking they would fit no problem. I'm wondering if anyone else with 20" strasse wheels has stretched rear tires and is this the only way I can run this set up? I also have some questions regarding lowering the car. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

may be a bit wide up front. Do they clear your front brakes? I have 225/30/20 and 255/30/20. Modest stretching.

Great choice
Yeah you gonna need some fender work on front for sure (cut or roll)
for a nice stretch in the front you can used 225/35/20 & rear 245/35/20

Everything seems fine, the front brakes clear. Im running 245/30/20 up front 285/25/20 with mild rub up front when i turn out of my driveway. Now I'm just trying to decide on springs vs. coilovers. Thanks again for the advice, greatly appreciated...

yea coilovers for sure, youll be able to play with the height and accomodate the wheels alot better.. with springs if its too little or too much of a drop your stuck as it is.

If you're gonna lower it those tires won't work! I'm running 225 up front and 255 in the rear. Remember what I said. You heard it here first.
