Lightbulb Lexus Folding Mirror PO-40 ?

Hey CL Member,

I know this topic is already discuss on but I ran into this on youtube. The PO-40 folding kit for Is250. Made in Thailand..

- Have anyone ever heard of this ?
- Anyone translate the website in english for more research ?

lexus might consider on future models! saw KIA optima have the same concept plus some euro cars

Lexus offers that feature on the IS, just not in the USA.

using the translate function in google chrome helps alot, looks like it is 2400 thai baht, or 78 USD, not sure if they will ship to the us though, plus i am not even sure if our cars come with the motors already built in to use this feature

So that's why I'm surprised that they still not offering that folding mirror here,can't wait it will be nice

I email the vendor PO-40. Waiting on the reply. Hope to get the answer soon from them.


- what the kit come with
- the pricing ( 78 dollar that a killer price )
- shipping to U.S. or not.

TOOOOO Baddddd U.S model doesn't included the ability like European and Japanese model..

The usual explanation for this is that many streets and parking areas are much more narrow in europe and japan than in the US, so this feature is a lot less important in the US.

^ Still sick to have it tho.

I'm thinking that since the 2IS in other countries have the folding mirrors, this is only a relay to make them fold with remote.

Also I doubt they will understand English in your email.

^^ agree. For that price, it will probably be just a remote kit to make the mirrors fold granted you are equipped with motorized folding mirrors.

Over here they introduced the folding mirrors in the later models.
But a guy is distributing this product here

mind you our car spec is different. (more like japans)
