Finally installed my JL 12wae and HD750/1 and boy does it hit. I left the rest stock and it sounds like a beast. It turned out pretty nice and did not take any trunk space at all. I have all the air being pushed through the ski port and my bass **** in an empty plate near the change holder. My back window flexes so hard I swear it will shatter one day. was it designed to not look like its in the middle?

 

How does it sound from the outside? Any "rattling" issues?

The guys that installed it said this was the best install they have ever done with no rattling not even the license plate. Hit it so freaking clean many people who sat in the car think I have 2 15's. Outside the car sounds just as good no distortion and no rattling and I have no dynamat. That carpet piece is a thin piece of wood thats removable and the box is wrapped in white leather. I can still get to my spare with no issues.
