coolabt should affect heat, not AC? Sounds like low refridgerant to me

 

I am having this same issue...did anyone resolve this? My ac is on full blast all the time. While I am driving you can tell when the a/c compressor isn't on with the air getting warmer and more humid. Then it goes back to cooling. This happens on/off while driving. Also....compared to my wifes car my a/c takes FOREVER to cool the car because of this!!

 

bump didn't want to start a new thread… have people found/ fixed this issue? still having the same problem. A/C will be on and suddenly turn off and i have to keep pushing the A/C button to kick the compressor back on.

 

Had the same problem. Went to the dealer, had the system sucked out, recharged with the dye inside and checked for leaks. Also put a new charcoal air filter in. No more problems... $159

 

My 08 is 350 is randomly overheating, ac isnt working and there is a clicking sound in the glovebox. Im in the shop now. Will a new water pump sole ac problem?
