Jeff
There's quiet a few JDM parts importers in the South Florida area so if I go with the MKIII diff it will be one of those but I'll still overhaul it.

Also if you go with a Supra diff, you'll of course just use the differential itself, you'll need to use your IS housing.

Thank you for the heads up, I found a JDM IS300 LSD diff. I'll probably buy it if the price is right.

Very nice to hear! So do you have any plans to test this on autocross on race track?

I will likely try autocross next year when I get some new tires and suspension. Until then I'll just been enjoying it through various corners in the city and mountains.

I've driven the car quite a bit more since I first installed it, and it is a noticeable improvement through "spirited" cornering.

Just wanted to add one more door jamb code here:

B02C also means there is an LSD and I will ASSUME B02B as well if that exists, since both B and C = LSD. The LSD I got was from an auto 2001 IS 300 and the 02 means the E-Shift gearbox I believe. It is also 3.91:1.

Are there any benefit in doing this mod to an automatic IS250?

Umm did you not read the first post?

"06-08 IS250 AWD models have a 190mm rear differential (A Torsen from an IS200/RS200 Altezza might work well in this application)
06-11 IS250 RWD & 09-11 IS250 AWD models have a 205mm rear differential (The IS300 Torsen is a bolt-in upgrade for this application)"

...lol
