If you check his feedback, there is a negative feedback from a buyer of the replica wald lip. Hmm...

Well, it is unpainted. U will need to prep the surface and paint it. I guess the guy expected to fit it without any work on it.

No 3m tape included. So need to place the tape to take care of the gaps.

I have a replica wald, not sure if it's by this eBay seller as I got it from a friend. I had my body guys trim and fit it and it looks perfect. Here's some pics of it, hope this helps. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...-on-shoot.html

I had the same thing on mine but I bought it from another vendor on Ebay. Had the body shop paint and install it but they couldn't close up the gaps, on the side as well as the ones in front. They did put 3M double-sided tape but it didn't help much. I saw the one from ABS, the picture showed a perfect fitment. I was about to buy it to replace the one I have but when I ask them, they said it will be the same, what gives? was the picture photoshopped or is it the real Wald lip they are showing. May have it pulled off and reinstalled again, that's kind of an eyesore when you look at it with those gaps.:

Ouch....you could pull it out and put the 30mil 3M double tape yourself. That should help a ton.

3m tape alone will not close up the gaps alone if the abs is not trimmed to actually meet the lines of the car, see where there are gaps, follow them back to where the lip sits flush on the body and try and see if it creates a stress point. I highly recommend a complete body repair shop if you want to get it perfect. It's definitely worth it!

Point taken. Fact is body work requires patience and the skill to find the tacking points. Anyone with a good DIY skills should be able to handle it.

But the lip is not made of abs, it's in polyurethane, isn't it easier to work with it to make it fit better?

Yes it will be easier, but you still need to find the stress points and trim to relieve them.

Should have had Tommy Ninja installed it instead of the bodyshop, maybe I'm gonna take it to Tommy to fix it.

Definitely take it somewhere else if you don't like it, it really will make a difference. When I looked at mine untrimmed I was seriously disappointed that it didn't fit up first try, but after my shop took it and I saw it all done ! Good luck, this is what mine looks like all finished... Also if the edges aren't rounded you may consider rounding them to match the lines of the car, much better looking again! Good luck! And if you have any more questions keep posting if I can't figure it out the much smarter people than me on here definitely can. Looking forward to seeing it all finished.
