A base manual A5 costs a bit over $37k, comes with standard AWD, gets 21/31 mpg's, and does 0-60 in 6.4 seconds. I don't see how anyone can think those aren't good numbers or credentials. The car also ranks as "average" as far as reliability goes. Better than most other German cars.
