Default Close Call!!!

Wow... so if you guys didn't know, there was a big rave called ELECTRIC DAISY CARNIVAL in Vegas this past weekend...

Well it's Friday morning, 9am, and of course everyone wants me to drive. Nice Lexus, 2 12" subs, and a DVD player, I can't blame them haha. Well we all my house, my car and the homies nice *** Subi... and we drive probably like 20 miles and we stop at the store called Total Wine. Oh yes! Time to stock up! Anyways, upon leaving the store I noticed something white on my rear right tire.

I had just recently run over some chalk on the road because there was some on my car near the bottom so I thought nothing of it, BUT luckily I checked the tire because it was actually this!!!

That's right, BOTH those lines are the metal threads showing! NO WAY would I have made it to Vegas, and since my car is lowered, I would have had to get towed!

So we drive back to my house and switch to the homies Mazada something, idunno. And once again leaving my house, RIGHT when we hop on the freeway, this F350 RIGHT in front of us BOOM! Blows his tire and hits our car, he swerves and hits this van! It was crazy! A sign from God or something haha

Anyways... just wanted to complain, cuz not only did I spend money in Vegas, now I'm down another $200 for a new tire! Grrrrr

Who doesn't check their tires to know that they are wearing that badly?

And good thing you're ok.

Luckily you noticed it upon walking up to it! How many miles did you have them?

Yup, tires and fluid levels. Always on trips longer than 100 miles round trip (at least that's my rule.)

My other tire was replaced before due to a nail. This one had ok miles on it, mainly worn on the middle due to a couple burn outs from The Pursuit 2

Probably worsened by the fact you're changing one tire at a time.

How was the show? My girl and I were going to go, but decided not to when the venue was changed to Vegas.
