Damn man glad to hear you got that many miles out of it..... Mine is at 152k right now and i thought i had one of the higher milages on the forum, id be ecstatic if i got another 100k+ out of it..

 

I am at 21k miles after four years, that means I have to drive my IS until I am about 76 years old to reach your mileage if I maintain to drive at this rate.

You must have spent a small fortune on tires. The only negative thing I have to say about the 2IS is it goes through tires way too quickly and our tires are very pricey.

I'm glad to hear that these cars can go the distance.

On another note the car overheating when sitting at the light could be a bad thermostat, collant line with a small hole in it or the colling fan not comming on as it should which could mean a bad thermo switch.

 

did you change your spark plugs?
