6" Front Woofer Replacement not w/ML Speaker
Today I replaced my front 2 woofers with 2 dayton 6" woofers. Information on the woofers is provided in the below link. My front left woofer was blown, so that's the reason why I replaced them. I know the ML system's speakers are 8 ohm's so I went with a speaker that is made for home stereo systems. It looks cheap, but it sounds great. The mids seem to have less distortion and hit just a little harder, if that makes any sense. The site I bought them from has plenty speakers to choose from. I called them and they recommended the ones I mentioned above. It beats paying $150 for a oem mediocre speaker. Nothing wrong with saving a buck!

The front woofers in the ML system are being fed 25W.
Seems likely to lead to clipping and failed speakers unless you've added an aftermarket amp you didn't mention.
