In the head on pic of the drivers side, the gap between the front fender and drivers door seem more prominent than the other gaps on that side. I thought it might be the lighting so I looked at the passenger side pic.

The gap still looks big.

Not trying to slam your perspective car, these are things I would observe should it be me spending this money.

Is it salvaged?

A 2-year, 20k mile gap in service history on a car that's under factory warranty? That's suspicious. If I owned a new car and it was under factory warranty, I'd be taking it in to get any issue I found corrected. Correct me if I'm wrong but I imagine there was at least a recall or something during that time. Was the valve spring recall performed?

It's also odd that there are service trips mentioned for nav but the nav isn't fixed. If you're under factory warranty and your nav fails and you take it to a dealership, it will get fixed. Even if they ultimately have to swap out the whole thing.

Here's my suspicion about this car after reading the listing. The first owner had an accident in the car; you have no idea what this accident involved and what damage could have been done. At the very best, you're going to have to take the word of someone whose motive is to sell the car. The second owner probably bought the car because he saw it at a steal (since it had been in an accident) and wanted to mod it. He did all his mods DIY and didn't take it to the dealer often at all exactly for this reason. Maybe things truly were perfect on the car for 2 years and 20k miles, but that's highly unlikely given the nearly 100 TSIBs and multiple recalls for the IS350. Despite not having taken advantage of it (even when the nav failed, he didn't pursue a true fix), he probably liked having the safety net of the factory warranty in case anything big went wrong. Now, mere months and 6k miles away from the warranty's expiration, he's dumping the car.

I could be wrong of course, but if I were in your position that would be my suspicion.

Awww come on. That's not true. Not nearly 100. You totally just popped all the air out of my potato chip bag.

Haha I hate to burst anyone's bubbles but it's the unfortunate truth, I downloaded them all off of TIS myself and have an enormous folder of PDFs. It's a great resource, but a bit saddening to see in terms of magnitude..
