Default HELP!!! Problem with Navi Hack

Hey, i followed the instructions on the FAQ for the navigation hack. I am very savvy with electronics and cars. I spliced the pink wire and connected it with the white wire with gray paint. Now my car is still not allowing me to browse the mp3s or folders. And my navigation maps are very slow, it seems like it lags several seconds. There were two white wires, one with gray paint, the other with a black strip? I dont get why it is not working. Please let me know if you guys have any inputs. Thanks. I have a 2007 IS350 Premium with Nav.

Did you ground the RED wire from the nav screen? It's in the DIY

I thought you did not have to do that, unless you have the ML DVD feature. I just have the Navigation but no ML DVD.

There are posts about DIYing your Nav/DVD hacks.

Use the search function to find those posts and "read" through the post because I know there are errors and corrections.

Good luck!
