Default help taking apart headlight

hey guys my friend does retrofitting, and he told me as he was trying take apart the headlight he couldnt, and that it was literally impossible to seperate the housing from the lens, and that the sealant was way to strong. Any suggestions or advice on how to take apart?

I haven't open the IS headlights yet, but I opened the RX330 and my brother 08 camry headlights, what I did was leave the headlight's in the oven with the 210 temp for 25mins and use my strange to pull them apart, make sure you don't use anything to pry them open otherwise the housing will bend and dent to it, so when you put them together it would be gap between lens and housing that how people got moisture in it that how I opened my headlights

25 mins sounds too long. I left my 4Runner headlights in the oven for about 7 mins. Then used a putty knife to seperate the lens from the reflector and it came off nice and easy. It's best to go short than long in the oven since you don't want to melt them.
