one way or liability only is when the insurance only covers the car you hit if its your fault, your stuck with the bill for your own car's damages. So like in this example you car gets fixed by their insurance no cost (no deductibles) to you. But if their car is damaged they are Fed in the A.

Thanks for the response, that's what I thought. The OP seemed like he was displeased that the person that hit him only had one way insurance, but if it was the other driver's fault (as is implied), I don't see the problem.

how fast or how hard did the other driver back into you to cause that much damage?Was it in traffic? Were you parked?
Im curious because im looking into an accident that was not reported on my car and they original owner states that it was a lane change accident but had to replace both headlights and bumper so i want to compare and see if they are underplaying the accident

ya i was at my friends parts shop, and a parts truck backed into it parked.

Yep, pretty easy to tell just by seeing damage.
