Default IS250 spacer question

Hey guys,

wondering if anyone can teach me alittle with spacers. I have a 2010 IS250 awd and i have 19" AXIS SHINE rims, 8.5front and 9.5rears. its sitting pretty well right now but im wondering if i can use spacers to bring them out a little for more of a flusher look. Im not 100% sure on my rim offsets.

My question is

is it safe to use spacers on my car. whats the number size that i can use without causing problems down the road. and also is this something easy that i can install myself.

Thanks

oh, any thing on pros and con's would help too!

it would help if you mention...

1. what offset your wheels are, and...

2 what ride height your 2is is at right now.

i just sent Axis a email asking them for the offsets. as for height, im not entirely sure,. they are dropped on BC coils and i have it at a safe height right now but im not too sure on height. i'll be looking to lower it a little more once i get a lip kit on and spacers if i do go with it.

hopes this helps

actually, none of what you've provided helps.

all due respect, but it's not just as easy as throwing on spacers and calling it a day. without knowing:

- the offsets of your wheels
- your 2is's ride height (top of tire to edge of fender)
- tire sizes
- whether any fender work has been/will be done to your 2is
- what you're trying to achieve

... it would be guesswork to say what size spacers you should be running.

so if you're just trying to get a roundabout answer whether to get spacers or not with vague information, then you might as well not get spacers.

also, add to that the fact that the 2is awd system may be more sensitive to changes in suspension geometry/specifications, you may be doing more harm than good to your 2is awd system.

hope you understand. if/when you are more willing/able to provide more specific information, then you might get a more specific answer.
