Hey guys, im stuck between get the Vaistech ML(MultiMedia LineQ) or Ebay LED tails. They are both around 250 right now. Which would you guys get? Opinions?

 

Two totally different areas of the car. If you want looks get the tails. If you care about the audio/ ipod controls get the Vaistech.

 

i would choose vais b/c i like to change songs with conveniently with my steering wheel. =)

 

I'd pick the first one. Not because I like it but I think the lights are ugly.

If you drive a lot and enjoy listening to music, get the Vaistech ML. This is obviously something for you to enjoy.

If you'd rather purchase a mod that is noticeable to others (but would likely not be AS directly enjoyable to you unless you spend more time looking at your car than driving it) then go for the tails....but IF AND ONLY IF you know that fitment is good.

If you go with the tails, don't forget to post pics after installed

 

As others are saying, it depends on what you want. Personally, I'd go with the eBay tails because it would bother me knowing the VaisTech unit I just bought isn't the top of the line model (the ML+ is).

+2 on VaisTech. I enjoy listening to music and it sure is nice to switch playlists / artists using the steering wheel controls.

 

Honestly I'll chime in here regarding the Vais and the Tails...

First off like most of you all, I love music... I currently have the same setup in my car and love being able to manage everything through the Vais versus the Ipod itself... EVENTUALLY I would of got this if my car didn't already come with it...

Definitly the Vais is a nice addition if you don't already have it on the car, because simply it's REQUIRED (to me anyways ha).

Second, The tails... I personally own these tails ONLY because someone hit me and insurance wrote me a check... I didn't go with the OEM ones cause they were TWICE the price as these ebays for ONE OEM tail... SO i bit the bullet and bought these things, at the time I THOUGHT they looked pretty clean, When I had the shop install these tails they had trouble with the ****TY harnesses that came with them, and had to modify the sockets on the EBAY tails to work with OEM harness. There are numerous threads here regarding problems installing these Eagle brand tails and personally I'm sick of looking at them cause they look cheap as hell in person... I'd rather go back to my OEM tails and red out the amber.. But heres a pic of my ride anyways to show you im not BSing.

^^^^ thank you! Im leaning toward the vaistech right now since it has the digital audio which will make everything sound that much better (so they claim). Do you have the VML? How does it sound with an ipod? Noticeably better?

You really think those LEDs look cheap tho? Ive never seen them in person, but alot of people have them right?

 

i say the VaisTech u listen to music more than u look at the tail lights lol eventually i would get the tails tho but the VaisTech 1st.. my oppinion

 

the Vais DOES make my Ipod sound louder then the radio, but really I can't say it makes it sound better cause I don't listen to my ipod outside my Lexus...

Personally I think the Ebay tails look cheap as hell, they look pretty cool at night cause the LED's n stuff... but during the day they look like Lexus Altezzas TBH... I wish I could go back OEM if anyones willing to trade!!!

 

MOST ebay tail lights look cheap. They are usually manufactured in China using cheap materials. If someone had a picture of both next to each other, you can really see the difference. My advice would be to skip the tails (the LED's will probably die or it will let water in sooner or later) and get the Vaistech.
