Totally like this box and how it looks like it fits, but $300 just for ONE sub box is crazy, cuz everyone knows you need TWO 12"s for a good hitting system :P

Wow. I didn't even know they stopped making these. I'm glad I picked my up when I did. Now all they need to do is make one for the drivers side so I can install my other JL thats collecting dust.

$300 is actually a pretty good price for custom work. Check out prices on JL Stealthboxes (not one for IS I know), but those are $400-$500. I had a custom box made for my Escape false-floor, and paid $380 for it. Just getting the materials for this type of work if it was a one-off would cost you $150-200. Just sayin..

Q-Logic setup? Nice.
Probably. This enclosure is a nice middle ground between a plain old box you stick in your trunk and something fully custom. It's also great for those that want the OEM/stealth look. It's all about preferences.
I'd say I'm pretty custom, not something thrown in the trunk.

Fella concerned about golf clubs, with the stealth enclosure there is NO WAY clubs would fit.

I don't have a problem putting clubs, groceries, strollers etc in my trunk. Pic doesn't do (the space) I have justice.

This isn't true about having a good hitting system! I have one JL Audio 12W6V2 with a JL 500/1 amp running it. Several Nor Cal members have heard it and it hits HARD!!

I'll vouch for that. I've got a 10W6V2 and it hits ok. A 12inch is PLENTY for the trunk of an IS. To much if you ask me, but def hits hard!

SWR-1223D and PDX-M6 here, one 12" sub is more than enough to make my TSB rearview mirror constantly droop and needs adjusting

Don't see how it's possible. I put my clubs in the trunk daily and need every bit of the room where that box would be sitting.
