This will require a minimum down payment (I forgot the amount, 5-7K I think) up front for this.
That's what I was told by the dealer when I was shopping for my 11' IS. I would love to see GFM in the F-sport package!

To OP, congrats on your purchase!!

Thanks for the info, it is very tempting to do this!

Thanks for the wonderful feedback!

As far as the car goes its a 2011 IS 250 with the following options:
1. F sport (obvious)
2. Navigation
3. Preferred Accessory Package with rear bumper applique
4. HID's

I'd take some pictures right now but it gets dark by the time I get home and I'm sure all of you know what a stock IS looks like.

The price I negotiated was 36k before taxes. As for modding goes, no plans on it yet as I have a 2010 GTI to mod first (This will be a secondary car for me and the primary for the wife).

I am not sure if it is actually called that way. It is more likely called Premium Package or Luxary Package which would be what else is attached along with the F-Sport models.

I know at the local dealership here, they have F-Sport, with Luxury Package with NAV.

On my sticker it says:

Preferred Accessory Package: Cargo Net, Trunk Mat, Wheel Locks and Rear Bumper Applique.

When I was pricing out this vehicle on truecar.com it gave me 2 options of the accessory package, one with the rear bumper applique and one without.

Looks more like a package which truecar's made but it is not Lexus as it just looks like optional accessories I can add on in the accessories section on Lexus.com. The site seems to assume base model car.

http://www.lexus.com/models/IS/featu...andAccessories

The packages is listed here.

This is where I am getting confused. Which package(s) did the car come with?

Hey Sango,
The only options on the car is F Sport Package, Navigation Package, HID and Preferred Accessory Package. No Premium or Luxury package.

Ahh I see. Looks like different regional build of the car for your area. Still it is a great car you have .

If the dealer didn't add the accessories package to the vehicle, then you can add the accessories package. It's 'post production options'.

The accessories (cargo net, trunk mat, wheel locks) didn't come with my F-Sport package. I told them I wanted the 'preferred accessory package'.

So they just handed me the cargo net and trunk mat. And as for the locks, they brought my car back to service to get the locks on the car.
