its a nice look to it. i considered doing it too. but was hoping itd be vinyl til i found out you have to do a matte spray paint to it.

one suggestion is, vinyling it. and then matte spray paint the vinyl.

I've never seen that before (or maybe just haven't noticed) but the matte tails look sweet! Please post pics if you get it done.

(And maybe a DIY if you DIY...)

Nice look, I'd definitely be interested in this too considering my tails (Ebay LED) kinda look to flashy for me now that I've had them on for a while... Kinda wish I woulda just went back to OEM or ISF (but damn ISF tails are expeeeensive) I think doing the matte finish on the Ebay LED's would look pretty clean though esp on my obsidian bride.

i took it off on my truck cause when it got in a accident the dealer tried to buff it and it took the matte off so i just took it off on both. but its still on my corolla and its been on there for like 4 years now!

i was gonna spay it on the IS but i have redouts and didnt want to spray over them since it might have a diffrernt texture

to me the tail lights and brake lights seem to be brighter since the light seem to reflect on the matte finish, cant really describe what im trynna say but check out the pics of my truck, those are just with the lights in the on position (not using brakes)

i got alot of compliments and people asking how i did it, but i usually told them that i had them professionally done since i did'nt want anyone else to have it! but now the secret is out!!!! lol

plus it matched my matte black decals on my black truck nicely!
